Human rights activist Youssef Khalifa Al-Youssef Summoned for Investigation

The Human rights activist and professor Youssef Khalifa Al-Youssef is going to be brought on Wednesday, 09/16/2020 before the Abu Dhabi Federal Appeal Court of the State Security Department, the International Center for Justice and Human Rights (ICJHR) has revealed.

The ICJHR has learned that Dr. Al-Youssef faces charges of cooperating with an organization that allegedly threatens the State security as well as charges of financing the organization of the Muslim Brotherhood.

The rights group confirmed that the accusations are baseless and untrue and are simply intended to abuse Dr. Youssef Khalifa Al-Youssef, famously known for his articles and books that criticize the corruption in the UAE and in other Arab oil countries.
