Yemeni mothers protest over UAE-led secret prisons
Scores of Yemeni mothers organised yesterday a protest vigil demanding their relatives be released from UAE-led secret prisons.
Protesters held the Saudi-led coalition and the United Arab Emirates responsible for operating secret prisons in which their relatives are being held. Banners demanding the release of their detained sons were held during the protest.
Back in June, a number of international organisations including Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International accused the UAE of operating two secret prisons facilities in Yemen in which detainees were tortured.
