Human Rights Violations in Yemen – UN Report

In August 2018, a Group of UN Experts issued a damning report implicating the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia in gross human rights violations and possible war crimes in Yemen.

The report found that coalition forces had killed thousands of civilians in indiscriminate airstrikes, raped and tortured prisoners in secret jails, and - through a naval and air blockade - brought one the poorest countries in the Arab world to the brink of famine.
